Entertainment Lineup announced for 2023 Pro Bowl Games presented by Verizon
Rae Sremmurd tapped as first-ever headlining performance for tentpole event, along with performances from DJ Esther Anaya, Jessie James Decker, Las Vegas Academy Choir and Blue Man Group
New York, NY (January 26, 2022) – The NFL today announced the entertainment lineup for The 2023 Pro Bowl Games presented by Verizon. The multi-day event will kick off with skills competitions on Thursday, February 2, which will air from 7:00-8:30 PM ET on ESPN, and continue on Sunday, February 5 at Allegiant Stadium, where fans can catch all of the action live and in person, including the culmination of skills challenges, the first-ever AFC vs NFC Flag football games and the first-ever Pro Bowl Games headlining performance from RAE SREMMURD. Rae Sremmurd, the award-winning duo featuring brothers Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi debuted their first platinum-selling album «SremmLife» in 2015. They’re known for releasing massive hits such as «Black Beatles,» «No Type,» and «No Flex Zone.» Since their explosive start in the music industry, they’ve dropped two critically acclaimed albums «SremmLife 2» and «SR3MM.» Swae Lee has also been nominated for two Grammys for his work with Post Malone on «Sunflower,» which is now RIAA certified 17x platinum. The duo is currently working with longtime collaborator Mike Will Made-It to create their highly anticipated forthcoming album «SREMM4LIFE.»
During pregame and throughout the game, fans will be able to hear from in-house hosts, including five-time Pro Bowl player LADAINIAN TOMLINSON, seven-time Pro Bowl player NICK MANGOLD, and Las Vegas Raiders host SIBLEY SCOLES. In addition, JASON NEGRON will serve as MC.
For pregame entertainment, the LAS VEGAS ACADEMY CHOIR will sing «Lift Every Voice and Sing.» The Las Vegas Academy consists of over 900 students who are taught performing arts courses in band, orchestra, vocal music, guitar, jazz, mariachi and piano. Country singer JESSIE JAMES DECKER will perform the national anthem. The artist and reality TV star released her debut album in 2009 and wrapped her «The Woman I’ve Become» tour in August 2022.
Fans at Allegiant Stadium will also be treated to special pregame and in-game sets from DJ ESTHER ANAYA, the resident DJ of the Los Angeles Chargers and Resorts World in Las Vegas, The Pro Bowl Games’ host city. Additionally, the world-famous BLUE MAN GROUP will perform. An American performance art company that was formed in 1987, Blue Man Group is a trio of funny, playful, and irreverent bald and blue men, who have become globally famous for their unique performances, which merge music, art, comedy, and non-verbal communication.
