Se abre el plazo para la inscripción en línea al Foro Público 2019 de la OMC
Ya es posible inscribirse en línea al Foro Público 2019. Este año el tema principal del evento, que se celebrará en la sede la OMC del 8 al 11 de octubre, es “ Hacer avanzar el comercio: adaptarse a un mundo en evolución”. El plazo de inscripción finaliza el 16 de septiembre de 2019.
The Forum’s sub-themes are «Services — the next trade frontier», «The next generation — what do Millennials & Gen Z want to see from global trade» and «The next chapter of the WTO — strengthening the trading system». The online registration form can be accessed here.

Participation at the Forum is free of charge. Travel and accommodation costs are to be borne by participants. For nationals of least-developed countries, the Geneva Welcome Centre (CAGI) provides support to individuals requiring a grant for accommodation during the Public Forum. Please follow the link to verify your eligibilityand consult the procedure to be followed in order to apply for a grant.
Background
The Public Forum is the WTO’s largest annual outreach event. It provides a unique platform for heads of states, parliamentarians, leading global business people, students, academics and non-governmental organizations to come together and debate on a wide range of WTO issues and on some of the major trade and development topics of the day. Over 1,500 participants attend the Forum each year.
