Last night, the National Football League won 8 Sports Emmy Awards for its work across NFL Network, NFL Films, NFL.com, the NFL app and the League office.

 

NFL Network’s Good Morning Football won in the Outstanding Studio Show – Daily category, the first Sports Emmy Award for the show.

 

NFL Network’s series NFL 360 – which had received the most nominations for a single program this year – won a total of four Sports Emmy Awards in the categories of Outstanding Short Documentary (Mark Pattison: Searching for the Summit), Outstanding Editing – Short Form (Ode to South Central), Outstanding Long Feature (Through the Ashes: The Story of Black Wall Street) and The Dick Schaap Outstanding Writing Award – Short Form (Ode to South Central).

 

For the second consecutive year, NFL Network analyst Nate Burleson won in the Outstanding Sports Personality – Studio Analyst category for his work on NFL Network, CBS Sports and Nickelodeon.

 

NFL Films won awards for Good Morning Football, NFL GameDay All-Access: Super Bowl LVI in the Outstanding Edited Sports Event Coverage category (along with YouTube) – the second consecutive Sports Emmy win for the program – and Man in the Arena: Tom Brady in the Outstanding Documentary Series category (along with ESPN+, ESPN, Religion of Sports and 199 Productions), bringing NFL Films’ overall Emmys total to 136.
